Evocation draws energy from specific beings like gods, celestials, or even demons. The nature of Evocation changes drastically depending on the being, some are safe, some are free, some are dangerous, some expect something in return, some beings like others Evoking them, others don't, the being an Evocation spell draws from is called a patron, and the patron is the one who controls the power, not the one casting the spell.
