Manred, Lord of the Abyss, is the principal antagonist in the religion of the Borostím.

History[edit | edit source]

Birth[edit | edit source]

Manred is supposed to have no birth. Along with Elenryd, she has supposedly existed since the dawn of the world, and the remainder of the gods are supposed to have been birthed from the product of their union.

Role in Borostím pantheon[edit | edit source]

Manred, in the religion of the Borostím, is the master of the Abyss. In that mythos, he is depicted as being eternally at odds with Elenryd, Spirit of the Moon, the progenitor of the Borostím.

Where Elenryd seeks to help her children, Manred seeks to hamper them. Many of the misfortunes faced by the Borostím in the past and present have been directly attributed to his schemes and doings.
