Dragons (Firmament)
Dragons are an ancient form of life, believed to have been the first life in Telamon, which typically take the form of large, reptilian creatures with supernatural abilities. These beings are present across the entire Firmament, making their homes in virtually all places across the planes and generally being among their most powerful inhabitants.
Types of Dragon[edit | edit source]
True Wyrms[edit | edit source]
The term True Wyrm refers to a broad classification of the most powerful dragons. They all share certain traits: a steady growth in power and intelligence over time, innate magic, apex physical strength and agility, and efficient physiology. Great True Wyrms have four legs, two wings, and a tail, while Royal True Wyrms have four legs, no wings and an extremely long, serpentine body. Planar True Wyrms are a clade of True Wyrms native to the Outer Planes, blurring the line between dragon and outsider.

Lesser Dragons[edit | edit source]
Less powerful than True Wyrms but unrelated to the Drakes, such dragons tend to be more numerous. Their intellect ranges from Human-level intelligence to animal-like.
Drakes[edit | edit source]
Drakes are degenerate counterparts of the Great True Wyrms. They share many traits with Great True Wyrms — they have sturdy leathery wings, reptilian forms, dangerous breath, and the ability to speak — but have two legs instead of a Great True Wyrms's four and lack their greater intelligence.
