Goblins imitate the culture they originate from. And as such they often try to steal and care for puppies, strays, rats, spiders or anything else they can manage to keep alive. Such creatures are twisted, contorted, abused and traumatized by the experience until eventually they become as to their original forms much as a goblin is to a human. Small, intelligent, malicious and amoral.
