Kurgram is the demon lord of fertility, gluttony, ogres and boars.

Appearance

The Flesh Queen is a monstrous quadrupedal creature resembling a perpetually pregnant boar with three rows of massive, curved, blood-stained tusks which rip themselves out of her mouth. Her spine protrudes from her back, as do several rows of sharpened quills. Rather than a furred tail, her body ends in a second, smaller mouth.

History

Kurgram's origins are a mystery, but she is widely believed to be among the oldest demons in all of Irkalla. Primordial ruins state she was involved in the Great Gap as one of the demon lords unleashed into the Material Plane by Varagarash Narahil's planar breach; they tell of a gigantic boar who gobbled up entire cities, until she was banished back to Irkalla with the rest of demonkind by the greater gods.

Realm

Kurgram makes her lair in the dreaded land known as the Bloatgrounds, which resembles a plateau filled with ponds of boiling hot blood which the demons use to cook the bodies and souls of those who end up there.

Personality

Selfish beyond measure, Kurgram sees the whole Firmament as food; she is eternally hungry and is not picky of what she eats. Compared to her demon lord brethren, she is among the most passive, as she is too lazy to expand her already vast dominion and generally avoids picking fights with others unless they come to her first, as she sees anything other than not indulging in her feasts as a distraction.

Relationships

The Bloated Mother's passive demeanor has led many demon lords to see her as an easy target for their conquests, something which has led to many lesser lords being devoured by her. Most of her demon kin takes a low opinion on her and her domain, and as such tend to leave her alone in order to focus on their battles with one another. As Kurgram is too busy devouring all that falls into the Bloatgrounds, she welcomes this.

Cult of Kurgram

Kurgram is the patron goddess of the Ogre race, who portray her as a member of their own kind. She is also widely worshipped by tribes of Trolls, though they usually do not fully grasp what she is. Humanoids born with mutations which led them to be forsaken by society may turn to Kurgram's cult, seeking comfort and the opportunity to enact vengeance on those who have wronged them.
