The Lizard-folk, also known as lizards, lizardmen, and lizard-people, to themselves as Tred Ley (Elder Race), and known to the Dwaerkar as Ledenkar, are a medium-sized race of coldbloods that inhabits some locations in Borost.

Although often confused with Serpent-folk, Lizard-folk are distinguished by their shorter necks, more bipedal posture, and, although uncommon, presence in the southern reaches of the peninsula. The Lizard-folk speak a language known as Leyan, which they share with the Skink-folk.
