The War of the Ten Claims, part of the Borost:Tirsosí Civil Wars, is a conflict that has raged in Tirsos over more than fifteen years. The war is fought on one side by Ainé, the Exiled King, while on the other, nine different claimants have attempted to enforce their claim on the throne.
The war is little like an open conflict: Most of the actual fighting has been conducted by mercenaries under hire as well as paid blades, who have conducted clandestine operations primarily in Tirsos. This has resulted in a flurry of sabotage attacks, assassination attempts, and other such interdictory operations. This has caused great unrest in the city.
Presently, most of the other claimants have been captured and publicly executed, while others have been assassinated by the agents of the King. The most important claimant that remains alive is Borost:Geilás Lundhall, whose whereabouts are unknown.
